With the powerful new features in D5 Render 2.10, you now have access to real-time path tracing, dynamic night skies with customizable moons, stars, and the Milky Way, as well as enhanced weather effects like rain, snow, and fog. These tools offer endless creative possibilities to transform a simple model into a stunning visual experience.
The top four entries will win amazing prizes and be featured in the D5 Render Community. Whether you're a Community, Pro, Teams, or Edu user, this competition is open to everyone. Winners will be announced on May 26, 2025 on the D5 Render Community.
How to Participate
STEP 1: Grab the Base Scene
Get started by downloading the provided scene file here.
STEP 2: Craft Your Scene
This is your opportunity to create ‘The Ideal Retreat’. A place that evokes comfort, peace, and a true sense of belonging, wherever that may be. Whether nestled in nature, situated within a bustling city, or placed in a serene lakeside environment, it’s all up to you to bring your vision to life.
❗Important Guidelines:
Do not use the reference settings included in the file.
Do not delete or replace the provided model.
Do include the front facade of the house in your render.
Do feel free to use any commercial assets or textures.
STEP 3: Submit Your Entry
Share your rendered images or videos and a short description of your design concept via the submission form below.
Submit your project for a chance to receive a free D5 Pro license! Ensure your entry includes:

How the Sample Scene Was Crafted in D5

How many entries can each person submit?
Each participant may submit multiple entries, but only their best work will be considered, and each user can receive only one prize.
Can I participate as a team?
Yes, teams are allowed. Copyright and prize distribution issues are to be negotiated within the team.
What are the criteria for evaluating entries in the Animation challenge?
D5 team, along with a panel of experts, will assess the renderings based on various criteria, including Technical Skill, Coherence, Creativity and Originality.
Notes
Submitted works must be original renderings, in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. If you incorporate non-original elements like scenes and models created by others, it's essential to obtain authorization from the original creator.
