D5 Computer Lab Licenses

Lab Licenses are designed for installation on computers in a lab or classroom setting and function as floating, concurrent licenses. These licenses offer a distinct pool of D5 Educational Licenses (EDU), also known as 'seats.' Each seat allows for one instance of D5 to be used under the same floating Educational License (EDU). Administrators can perform a bulk installation by executing a batch installation script, enabling the software to be used without the need for activation or login post-installation. The minimum purchasing quantity for new institutions is six licenses.

Notes:

AI Capabilities: There is no limit to the number of times the AI function of the lab license can be used, but there will be a speed limit after a certain amount of accumulated use.

Bulk installation: Administrators can execute a batch installation script for seamless deployment, eliminating the need for activation or login post-installation. This simplifies the installation process across multiple machines.

Updates

Free updates to the latest version of D5 Render are automatically provided during the license term.

Administrator Rights Transfer

Administrator rights can be transferred to other accounts. For assistance, please contact your reseller or reach out to us at edu@d5render.com.

License Availability Post-Expiration

Administrators will receive a notification 90 days prior to the expiration date. If the subscription is not renewed by the expiration date, account benefits will be automatically invalidated. If not renewed for over 90 days past expiration, the organization will be deleted, along with all virtual accounts and data. The client will revert to an unlogged-in state.
